Event
Overview:
- On June 28, 2008 from 7:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M., Roger Williams Park Zoo turned up the music and turned out the food for over 1,500 partygoers,
all of whom helped to raise funds for the education and
conservation programs at the Zoo.
- Zoobilee
2008: Feast with the Beasts featured over 40 of the area's
best restaurants, caterers and bars. Check out the impressive list of participants.
- Feast
with the Beasts has a reputation for great entertainment and the 2008 celebration was no exception, as the World Premier Band rocked the house again!
- Once
again, Zoobilee featured a WILD silent auction online, with bidding on select items continuing at the event.

Zoobilee 2008 Details:
- Proceeds
from Zoobilee 2008: Feast with the Beasts help underwrite many of the
critical needs of the Zoo throughout the coming year. Your support of Zoobilee helps:
- Please be advised- a valid ID is required. Because
of the availability and sale of alcoholic beverages, Zoobilee: Feast
with the Beasts partygoers must be 21 years of age or older. Minors
will not be admitted, even if accompanied by a parent.
- To allow
for sufficient time to safely set up the restaurant, catering and bar
stations and to prepare the entertainment tent staging area, Roger Williams
Park Zoo will close at 2:00 p.m. on the day of the event.
- Zoobilee
2008: Feast with the Beasts opens to the general public at 7:00 p.m.
and the party will roll until 11:00 p.m. Sponsors will be admitted beginning
at 6:00 p.m.
- Tickets
for Zoobilee are $125 per person for nonmembers and $100 per person
for members. *Sponsorships are available
from $500 to $15,000, or more. Sponsors are allowed into the event one hour
earlier than general ticket holders.
- Bidding
for the Zoobilee silent auction begins online on May 12. Final bids for online items will take place on June 27th at 12 noon.
- A select
number of zoo animals will be on view until dusk (not all our animals
can party as hard as our guests!)
- Suggested
dress is casual, festive party attire. Animal prints are encouraged,
along with some comfortable dancing shoes.
- Smoking
of cigars, cigarettes or pipes will not be allowed, per state law.
